Application & Acceptance:
To become a client of Americans Adopting Orphans, please fill out the accompanying Family Application Form, and send it to us with a $175 application fee ($184 for credit card or PayPal). We will consider your application and provide you with a written response within two weeks.
If you are accepted into our program, we will send you our Acceptance Pack. This includes a list of educational resources available to you, and other general information of use and interest to pre-adoptive parents. In the Acceptance Pack, you will also receive our General Contract. This outlines our mutual roles in the adoption process. Finally, you will receive a Service Order Form, which lets you tell us which Step 1 level of service you would like to receive.
Upon acceptance into one of our foreign programs you should return a signed copy of the General Contract, and the $700 Program Fee ($1,000 for families living outside of the US) within 45 days. The program fee fully integrates your family into our agency, and makes all of our benefits and services available to your family. You may also return a Service Order Form requesting your first service, or set up an appointment to establish an adoption plan during which we will help you choose which level of service you want first. (Families requesting a Home Study Only do not receive all of the below listed benefits and services, separate information available.)
Our Program Fee is: $700 for US based families. ($735 for credit card or PayPal).
Our Program Fee is: $1000 for international families. ($1050 for credit card or PayPal).
